Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely load and unload freight trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Inventory Management:** Sort, organize, and stock incoming merchandise accurately to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping:** Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Equipment Operation:** Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Facility Maintenance:** Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Quality Control:** Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Availability:** Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, including holidays.
- Physical Stamina:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail:** Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Reliability:** Punctual and consistent work history.
- Communication:** Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Education:** High school diploma or GED preferred.
