Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies immediately to the shift lead.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging integrity to minimize returns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace safety regulations at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency and a positive work environment.
- Load Management: Assist in loading and unloading trailers efficiently and safely during shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and reliability in previous employment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details and follow complex instructions and safety guidelines.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for inventory counting and shipping documentation.
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Forklift Certification: Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
