Job Overview
As a Weekend Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our distribution operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for the efficient handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe workspace for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and pallets safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas according to safety and efficiency standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with morning shift staff to ensure a seamless transition of duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in general warehouse maintenance and light cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
