Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain stockrooms to ensure accuracy and easy accessibility of inventory.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly package items for shipping, ensuring all labels and barcodes are correct.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow remains uninterrupted.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
