Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain optimal storage efficiency.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Operate scanning equipment to ensure accurate data entry for all incoming and outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekday shifts as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required.
