Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring freight is handled with care and accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability for weekend shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify data accuracy and ensure order correctness.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and counting.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
