Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing freight using powered industrial equipment (Forklift certification provided).
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock verification, and organize inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labeling and documentation is correct.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before storage.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A track record of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety protocols and instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
