Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and process incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld scanners.
- Picking & Packing: Retrieve orders from shelves, verify item counts, and package them securely for shipment.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by organizing stockrooms and restocking shelves.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all shipping labels and documentation are correct.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
