Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Sort, scan, and organize packages accurately to ensure timely delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and hand trucks as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in sorting and scanning.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts and scanning.
- Reliability: A history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
