Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and scanners to move inventory.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment according to quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in designated zones.
- Load and Unload Freight: Receive incoming shipments and load outbound trucks quickly to meet daily throughput goals.
- Keep Workplace Clean: Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area at all times, adhering to safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other associates to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with the ability to work overtime if needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a consistent attendance record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or basic computer terminals.
