Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in the warehouse facility.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and have a reliable transportation method.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on detail-oriented tasks and follow standard operating procedures.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Equipment Operation: Prior experience operating forklifts or powered industrial equipment is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicle).
