Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing lists and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Customer Service: Assist in answering customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with some flexibility for overtime.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to spot discrepancies in data or inventory.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Driving: Valid driver's license is a plus but not required for all roles.
