Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, count, and organize products to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Packing and Labeling: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels are correct and packages are secure.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor, aisles, and workstations clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some holiday shifts.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and commitment to showing up on time.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy standards.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for all roles.
