Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using industrial equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with strict adherence to shipping guidelines and deadlines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, including sorting and organizing stock areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
