Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing:** Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to strict quality standards.
- Inventory Management:** Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Warehouse Safety:** Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and keep the workspace organized and hazard-free.
- Equipment Operation:** Operate powered industrial equipment (PIE) such as forklifts after certification.
- Quality Assurance:** Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- Education:** High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Availability:** Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability:** Strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Background Check:** Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication:** Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Attention to Detail:** High level of accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
