Job Overview:
As a Weekend Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. You will ensure our products are processed, picked, and shipped efficiently to our customers. No prior experience is required for many roles; we provide comprehensive training.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, sort, and inspect incoming stock to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Picking & Packing: Select items using handheld scanners and prepare orders for shipment with high precision.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine checks to ensure all products meet company standards before leaving the facility.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift staff to ensure a smooth transition and workflow.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must demonstrate punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Computer Skills: Basic familiarity with technology, including handheld scanners or computers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to the Oakland location is necessary.
