Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the weekend staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Train and mentor new team members on standard operating procedures and equipment usage.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any operational issues that arise during the shift immediately.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on shift performance, productivity, and incident logs.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement process improvements for weekend operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using basic computer software and inventory management systems.
