Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 hourly staff during weekend shifts
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- Coordinate with day-shift managers for seamless workflow transitions
- Resolve operational issues and maintain optimal productivity metrics
- Conduct shift briefings and performance evaluations
- Manage inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with Monday-Friday availability for meetings
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
