Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 warehouse staff during weekend shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize weekend productivity metrics
- Conduct shift briefings and performance evaluations for weekend team members
- Address operational challenges and escalate issues to management as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of shift activities, inventory counts, and incident reports
- Foster a positive work environment through recognition and constructive feedback
Qualifications
- 3+ years in warehouse management or logistics supervision experience
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and inventory control systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train and motivate staff
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to make timely decisions
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
