Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in critical care and emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Participate in weekend shift rotations (Sat/Sun) with 12-hour shifts
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (RN license required)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing with 2+ years ICU/ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
