Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse or retail floor activities during weekend shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure accurate stock placement and timely replenishment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Prepare and review daily shift reports, including productivity metrics and inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement process improvements for weekend operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or shift leadership role within logistics or retail.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
