Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the weekend warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and shipment processing for weekend cargo.
- Train new hires and mentor existing associates on proper equipment handling and SOPs.
- Manage logistics for incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring timely delivery.
- Resolve operational issues and report any equipment maintenance needs to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Previous leadership or shift lead experience is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment (MHE) training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
