Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during weekend shifts to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, stock accuracy, and order fulfillment processes.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Mentor and train new staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate documentation.
- Address operational issues and personnel concerns immediately to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead capacity is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to operate warehouse equipment (Forklift, Pallet Jack).
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a significant advantage.
