Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory while maintaining a clean workspace.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure all products meet Apex Logistics standards before shipping.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items for shipment, ensuring damage-free delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and digital records of daily operations and stock levels.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and spot discrepancies in inventory or shipping.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Documentation: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
