Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out processes with accuracy and efficiency during weekend shifts
- Coordinate appointment schedules and optimize patient flow across multiple departments
- Assist with insurance verification and billing documentation
- Perform basic clinical support tasks including vital sign monitoring and specimen collection
- Utilize Epic EHR system for patient record management and communication
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff to resolve patient concerns
- Maintain HIPAA compliance standards and confidential patient data protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare administration or patient services
- Proficiency with medical software (Epic EMR preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in healthcare preferred
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
