Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care including vital sign monitoring, specimen collection, and EKG assistance
- Assist patients with daily activities while maintaining dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification or equivalent medical credential
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (AHA preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Proficient with EMR systems and medical terminology
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
