Responsibilities
- Monitor patient care activities during overnight weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to protocols
- Coordinate with medical staff to address emergent situations and prioritize patient needs
- Document clinical observations and administrative tasks with precision
- Oversee facility security and safety protocols during low-staffing periods
- Train and orient new weekend staff on department-specific procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for smooth transition of care
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) license required
- Minimum 1 year experience in overnight healthcare settings
- BLS/CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong problem-solving abilities during high-pressure scenarios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover variable weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
