Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge processes during weekend shifts
- Manage appointment scheduling and optimize clinic flow for weekend patients
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation systems
- Address patient inquiries with empathy and resolve concerns promptly
- Collaborate with weekend medical staff to support emergency protocols
- Perform administrative duties including billing verification and insurance processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in patient services or healthcare administration
- Strong communication skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (8 AM - 6 PM)
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
