Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including mobility assistance, vital sign monitoring, and medication reminders
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred (will train without experience)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-7pm)
- Background check and drug screen required
