Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage daily logistics workflows, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely processing during Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, resolving issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate digital records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory logs using our enterprise management software.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support a team of warehouse associates, ensuring safety protocols and efficiency standards are met.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and inventory to identify and rectify potential operational bottlenecks.
- Report Generation: Compile and submit weekly operational reports to management to track performance metrics and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work overtime during peak periods.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
