Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage daily workflows, ensuring all logistics processes are executed efficiently and safely from Friday through Sunday.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and manage incoming/outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to maintain safety standards and operational compliance.
- Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for weekend client inquiries, resolving issues swiftly and professionally.
- Shift Reporting: Generate and review daily operational reports, highlighting any bottlenecks or concerns to upper management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
