Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless weekend logistics across Chicago and Texas routes
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct safety audits and compliance checks for weekend activities
- Generate weekend performance reports and present actionable insights to leadership
- Manage weekend staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Serve as primary point of contact for weekend operational emergencies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in operations management or logistics leadership role
- Proven experience managing weekend/holiday shifts in warehouse or distribution settings
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory systems
- Certification in logistics or operations management preferred (CLTD, CPIM, etc.)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with experience leading diverse teams
- Willingness to work flexible weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday)
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite
