Role Overview:
As the Weekend Operations Specialist, you will be the face of our weekend operations. You will oversee inventory management, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team of dedicated associates to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Lead, train, and mentor part-time associates to maximize productivity and foster a positive team culture.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure on-time delivery.
- Generate and review operational reports to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail management.
- Mandatory availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) consistently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
