Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all daily operations for the weekend shift, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 5-10 logistics associates, conducting morning shift briefings and performance reviews.
- Monitor inventory levels in real-time and manage stock accuracy to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Resolve operational issues and escalations in real-time to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday management team to prepare for the upcoming week's workflow and logistics needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, specifically including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
