Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage all daily logistics, warehouse activities, and distribution processes from Friday through Sunday.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of 15+ employees, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Inventory Management: Supervise stock accuracy and inventory control procedures to prevent loss and ensure product availability.
- Customer Satisfaction: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries during weekend shifts, ensuring high service standards.
- Shift Reporting: Compile and submit detailed operational reports to the regional management team every Monday morning.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing a team and handling high-pressure situations.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Full Time hours).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with inventory management software (SAP, WMS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
