Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor weekend staff of 12-15 associates through daily briefings and performance coaching
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend productivity and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards
- Coordinate cross-functional handovers with weekday management teams
- Generate weekend performance reports and recommend strategic adjustments
- Manage weekend inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
- Act as primary weekend contact for client escalations and urgent operational issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years in warehouse/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced logistics environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS and inventory management systems
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies a plus
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions during weekend shifts
