Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse associates during weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Coordinate inventory management, loading/unloading, and order processing
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train new team members on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Generate shift reports and performance metrics for senior management
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors for operational continuity
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and vendor coordination issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Valid forklift certification and heavy machinery experience
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
