Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery as required.
- Load and Unload Freight: Manually and mechanically load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock organization, and ensuring accurate inventory levels within the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping documents, labels, and logs in our warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Available on Weekends: Must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays (Shift times vary).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
- Valid Driver’s License: (Optional but preferred for some roles).
- Previous Warehouse Experience: Preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or computer terminals.
