Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol 200,000 sq ft campus premises during weekend nights (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to security alerts, access control incidents, and emergency situations with protocol adherence
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs using digital security platforms
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain access control systems and visitor verification procedures
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year security experience or valid CA Guard Card
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong observational skills and proficiency with surveillance technology
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs
- Basic computer literacy for report generation
- Background check and drug test clearance required
