Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance systems and patrols during overnight shifts
- Respond to security alerts and incidents with appropriate protocols
- Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation
- Verify credentials and control access points for authorized personnel
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Enforce safety regulations for all facility occupants
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Security License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shifts
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexible weekend availability
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
