Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance and regular patrols during night shifts
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents
- Enforce access control policies and verify visitor credentials
- Document security incidents with detailed reports using digital systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct safety equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs of all security activities and observations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
