Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to deter suspicious activity
- Access control management: verify credentials and enforce entry policies
- Incident documentation: write detailed reports using digital reporting tools
- Emergency response coordination: de-escalate conflicts and coordinate with law enforcement
- Client communication: provide professional assistance to venue staff and patrons
- Equipment maintenance: perform daily checks on security systems and devices
- Collaborate with team members through shift handover protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CA Guard Card and BSIS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security experience in nightlife or commercial environments
- Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong observational attention to detail and situational awareness
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation with valid CA driver's license
- Availability for Friday/Saturday/Sunday shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
