Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms and incidents with professional de-escalation techniques
- Document daily activity reports using digital incident management software
- Screen visitors and vehicles at access points with thorough ID verification
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintain security infrastructure
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees during shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Guard Card (training provided if unlicensed)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shifts
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Reliable transportation to San Jose worksites
