Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises on foot and via vehicle to prevent security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms in real-time
- Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor credentials
- Document incidents and submit detailed daily activity reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors
- Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Maryland Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided)
