Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols during weekend night shifts (Fri-Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Conduct access control and verify visitor credentials at entry points
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate shift logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Safeguard high-value assets in commercial/residential properties
- Operate security equipment including radios, flashlights, and alarm systems
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and work independently overnight
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Basic computer literacy for report writing
- Flexible availability for weekend nights (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Reliable transportation to Long Beach locations
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
