Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to prevent security breaches
- Respond to emergency incidents and coordinate with law enforcement when required
- Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor credentials
- Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors and communication devices
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff during weekend operations
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during overnight shifts
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Proficient in using security technology and reporting software
- Reliable transportation to cover multiple KC metro locations
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
