Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms in real-time
- Enforce access control procedures for buildings and restricted areas
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and tenants
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Operate security equipment including radios and CCTV systems
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Security Officer License (PERC)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during overnight shifts
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in operating security technology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Clear background check and drug screen required
