Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance systems and patrols to prevent security breaches
- Control access points and verify visitor credentials during peak weekend hours
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
- Document detailed incident reports and maintain activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (Fri-Sun 11PM-7AM)
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in using surveillance technology and communication devices
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
