Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and foot patrols to deter criminal activity
- Enforce access control policies for venues and restricted areas
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Conduct perimeter checks and alarm system verifications
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Security Officer License (required)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts (Fri-Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
