Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, ECG monitoring, and specimen collection
- Assist with emergency response protocols and rapid patient assessments
- Document clinical observations accurately in Epic EHR system
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans with night shift physicians and nurses
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to patient call bells and address immediate care needs
- Participate in shift handovers using SBAR communication framework
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical documentation
- Exceptional critical thinking and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) 7pm-7am
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
